1. Seeking top notch University economists at teaching colleges

The National Economist Network is looking for economists to consult as expert witnesses in litigation matters of injury, wrongful death, or wrongful termination. Duties include research, economic analysis, report writing, directing in-house analysts in case work, and testifying as required at deposition and/or trial.

We are seeking junior and senior university economists with superior analytical and communication skills. Economists selected to join our network will work with us on a case by case basis and be supported by our in-house research staff. No prior expert witness testimony experience is necessary.

The successful candidate will have outstanding presentation skills; a PhD in economics, finance, or accounting; and current employment at a U.S. university. We have openings for non-tenure track, tenure track, and tenured professors. We are especially interested in economists at smaller universities and teaching institutions.

Our economists are compensated per project and can work as much as their teaching schedule and university obligations allow. Some travel (for delivering testimony) may be required. This is challenging and rewarding part-time work.

We are looking for attorneys who have an interest and/or experience working with economic experts in injury, wrongful death, and employment termination cases.
